Driver's license suspension is a common penalty for particular traffic offenses. Do you have an outstanding Hurst traffic ticket hanging over your head? Then you may soon find yourself up against DL suspension. You will know that your driver's license is about to be suspended, as the Texas Department of Public Safety (TX DPS) will send you a notice in the mail. If you have received notice of driver's license suspension from DPS, consider seeking legal counsel from Jack Byno & Associates. Since 1994, our attorneys have been defending drivers with Hurst DL suspension at driver's license suspension hearings. If you would like additional information on Hurst driver's license suspension, please see our FAQ page or fill out our DL Suspension Contact Form.
Has the Department of Public Safety mailed you a Notice of Suspension? You may have been sent a notice for reasons including moving violations, too many Hurst traffic tickets, or more serious convictions, such as Driving While Intoxicated (DWI). If you have received a Hurst DL suspension notice and are not sure why, take a look at your Texas Driving Record, which may provide you with the answers you are seeking. The DL defense lawyers at the Law Office of Attorney Jack Byno may also be able to answer any questions you may have as to the reasons for your imminent DL suspension. Get in touch with Jack Byno & Associates to schedule a consultation.
If the Department of Public Safety mails you a Notice of Suspension, and you do not respond to it before the date specified, your driver's license will be suspended. Your driver's license may also be suspended if you are unable to successfully dispute your Hurst DL suspension at your scheduled hearing. Even though your DL is suspended and you are not able to drive legally behind the wheel, our law office understands that you still require transportation to necessary places, such as work and school. We may be able to seek you a temporary license known as an Occupational Driver's License (ODL). This license is sometimes called an Essential Needs License, and if granted to you, you must be sure to follow the restrictions that come with it. These restrictions may include only being allowed to drive during certain times of the day.
